Miyama village - Minka

Hi there,

Will speak to you about something really special to live in Japan.
In your next trip please allow yourself to try one night stay in a traditional Japanese house called "Minka" [
民家].  You will then experience the old way of living of Japan.

You will be able to sit near a irori [
囲炉裏] house fire place where back in time they were cooking food, keeping the huse warm and it was the heart of the house. In the Minka [民家] you will be able to sleep on futon [布団] (traditional bedding) placed on tatami [] floor.

If you are interested in such a stay in Japan please click on the link below it will give you all information about it.
