The intensity of the earthquake was 8.8.
The Sendai city was hit by a 7 m high wave and destroyed almost everything.
10 000 are missing in Tohoku region now.
There is also the Nuclear power plant in Fukushima that is in difficulties.
The situation was supposed to be contained in the last message I got from Japan.
